WHY WORSHIP WITH DANCE?
1. In obedience to what the WORD of G-D says: “Let them praise his name with dancing, make melody to him with tambourine and lyre.” Psalms 149:3
“Praise him with tambourines and dancing! Praise him with flutes and strings!” Psalms 150:4
“Let everything that has breath praise ADONAI! Hallelujah!” Psalms 150:6
2. To edify, “the joy of ADONAI is your strength.Nehemiah 8:10
3. Priestly ministry to the L-RD on behalf of the people. 1 Peter 2:9
4. Prophetic ministry speaking forth G-D’S heart and/or intent to his people. Hosea 12:10
5. Dancing helps unite the body of Messiah in corporate worship. Ecc. 3:4
6. We dance to express joy, to celebrate G-D’S victory, to rejoice in the signs of his blessings, and to fully worship the KING of the universe by entering into his courts with thanksgiving and praise. Psalms 100:4

Message from the Dance Instructor

I personally am excited to have this opportunity to share the L-RD’S Gift of Dance to you. It is a special calling and requires dedication and practice. Every aspect is an abundant blessing to those who participate in this corporate worship. Most of the dance choreographs are original. The L-RD blesses me with simple and repetitive choreographs with less than three interchanges on most songs. The purpose is to worship and to welcome the “Holy One” into our presence. Messianic dance uses our bodies as an instrument for praise as stated in Psalms 150:4. “Praise him with tambourines and dancing! Praise him with flutes and strings!” We will be updating on a regular basis. Feel free to contact me at MessianicDance@BethShiloh.org. I am always open to suggestions and recommendations.

Blessings and more blessings to you and yours,
Laurie Spearman
